Ketamine Assisted Treatment

Numerous studies show that subanesthetic ketamine may be helpful in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Ketamine can be given as an intravenous (IV) drip, intramuscular (IM) injection or as a modified dose oral lozenge. Our practice currently offers oral ketamine that is specifically designed to be used concurrently while in a therapy session with your therapist.  The results been shown to be long lasting when combined with active therapy. Ketamine allows you to have better emotional tolerance and one can go much deeper into imprinted themes. The therapy occurs in both medication induction sessions as well as integration sessions to process the experience.

While the goal is improvement of symptoms, individual results cannot be guaranteed. Ketamine treatment is not a replacement for standard treatment with other medications if you are taking them, nor is it a standalone treatment - ketamine treatment works best when part of an integrated psychotherapy treatment program.
